PB&J Bar

Need something, quick and delicious?  Try making up a this healthy PB&J bar. If you haven’t before, you definitely need to try!! It is so simple and very yummy No matter how old, can you really go wrong with a PB&J?!



Gourmet Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich Bar

What you’ll need:


Natural Peanut Butter

Jelly or Jam of choice – if you can get on with no sugar added that is preferable

100% whole wheat bread – Check the ingredients to make sure “enriched whole wheat” isn’t in the ingredient list

Sliced Strawberries

Sliced Bananas

Slivered Almonds

M&M’s (if you have a sweet tooth..not like I do or anything;) )

Unsalted Butter

Personalize the sandwich to you by picking your favorites fruits to add



Once you have all the ingredients laid out, lightly spread butter on the outside of bread (the sides that will be touching the skillet when you toast it), then let everyone assemble their sandwich just how they would like.  Place sandwich together and put into frying pan until golden brown on both sides.

Then…eat up!!!!

These go great with homemade potato chips and freshly cut watermelon. Perfect for a summer day.
