Crock Pot Spicy Turkey Lettuce Wraps

20 oz 93% lean ground turkey

1/2 red onion, chopped

2 tsp Cumin

1 1/2 tsp Paprika

Pinch Cayenne Pepper (pending on how spicy you like things

1/2 c Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo

1/2 avocado chopped

Iceburg Lettuce

Olive Oil

  1. Heat oil over medium high heat on stove top.  Add onion and garlic.  Cook for 2-3 minutes and then add ground turkey, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, and Frank’s RedHot *if you do not like spicy swap the last two for some ground coriander*  Cook until turkey is about halfway browned.  You still want some pink left.
  2. Transfer turkey to the crockpot.  Add water until it covers ground turkey.
  3. Add celery stalks chopped into 2 or 3 pieces.  Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  4. Assemble and eat up!
